The original Cheetah Catamaran as it surfs up the beach at Ventnor. Sean had fitted out many small beach boats before designing the 6.2m. Often these early monohulls had deep forefoots and would broach in following seas or slam in head seas if the bows were too bluff. The curve in the keels can easily be seen as the 6.2m is winched up the beach. Demand for the marine plywood / West Systems Epoxy built catamaran led to the mould being made from the original 6.2m Cheetah.
